PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN COMPLETES WORK ON NEW BOOK “THE SPIRITUAL WORLD OF THE TURKMEN PEOPLE”
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov completed the work on a new book dedicated to the good, centuries-old traditions of the Turkmen people and their national foundations.
The work on the new book, created in the year marked with the motto "Turkmenistan is the Homeland of Neutrality", symbolizing the continuity of the noble principles of our people, is a clear result of the efforts taken by the President of Turkmenistan to further enhance the heritage of glorious ancestors, who significantly contributed to the treasury of world civilization.
In the new book, Honorary Elder, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pays special attention to the wise traditions of the nation, their worthy continuation in the modern epoch.
The deep study, preservation, wide popularization and passing down through generations the richest heritage of the Turkmen people occupy an important place in the new book.
The study of the original traditions and customs of the nation, the crafts that have become a model for the whole world, the disclosure of their features is of great importance in educating the younger generation in the spirit of true patriotism and continuity of long-standing values.
Having studied the historical sources and collected information on a scientific basis, the President of Turkmenistan systematized and summarized them in his new book. That vividly proves that the President highly respects the national values and noble principles of our people.
The work consists of twelve chapters, which describe in detail such concepts as the beauty of life, prosperity on earth, the eternity of things in existence, the importance of science and education in the development of society, the principles of a healthy lifestyle, diligence, hospitality, friendship and brotherhood, moral foundations and unity.
The book says that people’s traditions carry the centuries-old wisdom of life as a testament of our glorious ancestors.
In his work, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlines that our responsibility is to carefully preserve and ensure the continuity of the experience of previous generations and pass it down through generations that lay the spiritual foundations of any historical period.

This work that embodies the wisdom of the nation, will become a wonderful creative gift of the President of Turkmenistan to the people of the country on the eve of the Independence Day.
