OUR STUDENTS WIN AWARDS IN INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIADS

Students of the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages have once again taken winning places in International Internet-Olympiads.

Organized annually by the Volga State University of Technology, Yoshkar-Ola, the Republic of Mari El, an online intellectual competition in Russian started in October. This year, a total of 3,000-plus university students from the CIS countries took part in the Olympiad, which traditionally consists of two rounds.

Twenty-two students of the Institute of World Languages represented our country. The results are as follows: Chinar Ovelekova, a third-year student, the Department of the Russian Language and Literature and Aylar Gubajaeva, a fourth-year student, the Department of the Romance and Germanic Languages and Literature, took second place. Third place went to Nikita Kovalev, a fifth-year student, the Department of the Russian Language and Literature. The winners will receive medals and certificates of honor from the Volga State University of Technology.

Participation in the fourth International Internet-Olympiad in Arabic and Islamic Culture, which was held by the Institute of International Relations at Kazan Federal University, added yet another medal to our students’ medal haul. Bibimariyam Usmanova, a third-year student, the Department of the Oriental Languages and Literature, became a bronze medal winner of the online competition that ended yesterday.

As the students admitted, taking part in the international subject Olympiads together with thousands of fellow contestants from different countries helps to greatly stimulate their self-expression and inspires them to work with complete dedication in order to successfully demonstrate their knowledge and skills in the international events, to become the best of the best, and to worthily represent their country.
