DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL SPHERE AND MASS MEDIA AND PREPARATION TO HOLIDAYS IN THE AGENDA OF THE GOVERNMENT SESSION
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference working session with participation of certain Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers. Outcomes of activity of their spheres as well as current issues of the state life have been discussed at the session.
Opening the session, the head of the state has called vice-premiers M. Mammedova, M. Geldiniyazov and Sh. Durdiliyev to direct video call.
Turkmen leader has noted that large-scale preparation to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of independence and 140th anniversary of Ashgabat is carried out these days and cultural and public events are organized.
Further, the President of Turkmenistan gave floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Mammedova who reported on the situation in the structures under her supervision and events dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat’s administration.
Various contests, exhibitions, international video conference meetings and conferences are held according to approved plan. Videos, articles, photos are published in press, broadcasted on TV and radio channels, placed on the websites on occasion of remarkable date as well as works for their publication in foreign mass media are carried out.
Having listened to the report, the head of the state focused on the need to pay special attention to personnel selection and improvement of level of professional training of specialists in mass media. It is necessary to make programs and write articles dedicated to remarkable dates, century-old history of our state, the President said giving specific instructions to the vice-premier.
In this context, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has noted the importance to activate works related to study and popularization of national values and traditions as well as modern achievements of our country, potential of local tourism industry and capabilities of international cooperation in this sphere.
The head of the state has noted that it is necessary to write articles and make program about the history and attractions of Turkmen capital. We are proud that Ashgabat has been listed in 11 nominations in the Guinness Record Book.
In this regard, it is worth to pay special attention to preservation of ecological wealth of the main city of the country, which has a status of the center of international events. In addition, the head of the state has noted the importance of publication of poems and songs dedicated to Ashgabat in different languages giving number of certain instructions to the vice-premier.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Geldiniyazov has reported on the situation in the structures under his supervision, planned events on occasion of the end of 2020 – 2021 educational year and, in particular, on organized conduct of the Last Bell ceremony, which is a symbolical entry of the graduates of secondary schools to adult life.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that responsible tie is coming for personnel of educational system highlighting the importance of organization of the Last Bell ceremony on high level.
The head of the state has also highlighted that events on occasion of the Last Bell ceremony have to be distinguished with national traditions and glorify the beauty and magnificence of Turkmen capital especially in evening time when white-marble Ashgabat glimmer with bright lights of illumination. Therefore, school graduation ceremony are celebrated together with events on occasion of the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat, Turkmen leader stated.
In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan has pointed out the necessity of integrated approach to preparation of celebration events addressing vice-premiers Sh. Durdiliyev, M. Mammedova and M. Geldiniyazov with relative instructions.
Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdiliyev has reported on develoed program of events on occasion of the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat on high level.
Having listened to the information, the President highlighted that Ashgabat is an ancient city with rich history, to development of which special attention has been paid all the time. Solution of matters of harmonious development of the capital, making of comfortable conditions for life of people always have to be in the focus, Turkmen leader continued. Measures undertaken in this direction will give additional dynamics to preparation of celebration of the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat on high level.
Our duty is to keep high authority of Turkmen capital as the most beautiful, developed and clean city, the head of the state said. Speaking of importance of responsible and integrated approach to these issues, the President gave certain instructions to relative officials.
Having focused on famous personalities who dedicated their lives to Ashgabat and made deserving contribution to development of the city, the President of the country ordered to organize their honoring on the government level and a=gave number instructions on this account to the vice-premier.
Further, the head of the state gave floor for report to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch. Gylyjov. The vice-premier has reported on preparation to the events held under the year with slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Peace and Trust”, which is full of remarkable events as well as on activities for proper organization of work of trade and service sphere.
During the report, the vice-premier has demonstrated samples of notebooks to be presented on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan to first-grade students in 2021 – 2022.
Having checked the samples of notebooks, which would be presented to first-grade school students, Turkmen leader noted that full compliance of notebooks with world standards is the main requirement. Upgrade of the models of educational notebooks is very important for stimulation of interest of younger generation in digital systems and development of skills in this sphere, the head of the state highlighted addressing separate instructions to relative officials.
Finishing video conference session, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished its participants strong health, family wealth and success in work.
