TURKMEN EXPERTS TOOK PART IN THE DISCUSSION OF THE DRAFT REGULATIONS ON HUMAN RIGHTS IN THE CIS

Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the meeting of the expert group to discuss the activities of the Commission on Human Rights of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of foreign ministries, commissioners for human rights and ministries of justice of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and the Republic of Belarus.

They discussed the proposals of the participating countries to the Regulations on the Commission on Human Rights of the Commonwealth and amendments to the CIS Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.

The documents were finalized and agreed upon by the experts, and then sent for further consideration by the highest organizational authorities of the Commonwealth.
