«DIALOGUE IS A GUARANTEE OF PEACE» - THE THEME OF THE MEETING OF THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE ROUND TABLE IN THE CAPITAL OF JAPAN
The Tokyo University of Foreign Studies hosted a round table on the topic «Dialogue is a guarantee of peace» - a new philosophy of international relations.
The event was attended by Rector of the International University for the Humanities and Development Esen Aydogdyyev, President of the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies Kayoko Hayashi, General Secretary of the same university Keisuke Otani, teachers.
During the meeting, the speakers spoke about the universal philosophy called «Dialogue is a guarantee of peace», promoted at the initiative of Turkmenistan, which was recognized as a new principle of international relations built on the basis of peace and mutual trust.
The participants highly emphasized the importance of international cooperation to ensure universal sustainable development and security, the policy of neutrality, the peaceful foreign policy strategy of Turkmenistan in maintaining and strengthening peace and stability.
Remind that the initiative of Turkmenistan to promote the global philosophy «Dialogue is a guarantee of peace» and the proclamation of 2023 as the International year of dialogue as a guarantee of peace was supported by the United Nations General Assembly and approved by its special resolution.
Launched in 2023, the Global campaign for Dialogue as a guarantee of peace is aimed at consolidating the efforts of the international community in strengthening the traditions of peaceful and trusting coexistence of the peoples of the world, restoring values and worldviews, defining a culture of peace and trust as an integral factor in international relations.
As part of his visit to Tokyo, Rector of the International University for the Humanities and Development Esen Aydogdyyev also met with Turkmen students studying in Japan.
