Turkmenistan and Gansu Province of China aim to enhance partnership

Turkmenistan between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and the Deputy Governor of the People’s Government of Gansu Province of the People’s Republic of China Lei Siwei

During the talks, the sides emphasized that the Turkmen-Chinese relations of wide strategic partnership are dynamically developing on many vectors.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of developing contacts in such key areas as science, education, culture and art, which have become an effective tool for rapprochement of friendly Turkmen and Chinese peoples.  In this context, it was noted that every year the number of students studying Chinese in secondary schools and universities of Turkmenistan is steadily growing, and many students from Turkmenistan study in China.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed mutual confidence in building up fruitful long-term relations between Turkmenistan and China.
