At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was held a meeting with a senator of the French Republic, a member of the France-Central Asia parliamentary friendship group

On June 25, 2025,  a meeting was heldat the MFА of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan M. Byashimova and Senator of the French Republic, member of the France-CA parliamentary friendship group Samantha Cazebonne.

During the meeting, the parties noted the role of inter-parliamentary cooperation, in particular within the framework of the France-Central Asia parliamentary friendship group.

The parties also noted the importance of holding bilateral meetings between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to cooperation in the field of education, in particular between higher education institutions of the two countries.

Expressing gratitude for the support of the neutral status and interaction within the framework of international organizations, M. Byashimova confirmed the readiness of the Turkmen side to build up an active inter-parliamentary dialogue.

The parties noted the importance of organizing visits at the highest and parliamentary levels.
