The Chairwoman of Mejlis of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia

On 7 October 2025, the Chairwoman of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Dunyagozel Gulmanova held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlić-Radman.

During the meeting, the head of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan informed the Foreign Minister of Croatia on the priority areas of Turkmenistan’s national and foreign policy, as well as on the structure and work of the national parliament.

It was emphasized that Turkmenistan is committed to developing friendly relations with the Republic of Croatia. The importance of cooperation within international organizations, in particular the UN and the EU, was noted.

The sides exchanged views on the prospects of the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Croatia through the parliaments of two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed the commitment of both countries to the development of inter-state relations based on the principles of mutual respect, equality and trust.
