Meeting between the President of Georgia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan
On October 21, 2025, during an official visit to Georgia, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili.
Sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the National Leader of Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov were conveyed to the President of Georgia.
During the meeting, key issues of bilateral cooperation, strengthening political dialogue, as well as developing economic and cultural ties between the two countries were discussed.
The sides emphasized that regular contacts at high and the highest levels contribute to the deepening of their strategic partnership.
It was noted that Turkmenistan and Georgia consistently support each other’s constructive international initiatives and co-sponsor them within the framework of the United Nations.
The President of Georgia noted that Turkmenistan’s policy of neutrality makes an important contribution to ensuring global peace and receives wide support of the international community.
