Turkmenistan and Georgia open new prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation

The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov arrived in Georgia on an official visit. On October 21, 2025, as part of the visit, Rashid Meredov met with the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian fields. They also emphasized successful collaboration within the multilateral formats, primarily in the United Nations.

The Prime Minister of Georgia emphasized the constructiveness of his visits to Turkmenistan in the present year and meetings with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, noting their importance in strengthening bilateral cooperation.
