A telephone conversation took place between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Hungary

On November 12, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó.

During the telephone conversation, they discussed topical issues of Turkmen-Hungarian cooperation in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. It was emphasized that high-level contacts contribute to the development of bilateral relations.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the prospects for multilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Hungary within the framework of authoritative international organizations, primarily the UN.

Particular attention was paid to the preparation of the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held on December 12 this year in Ashgabat.
