Hero Arkadag met with the President of Nicklaus Companies
On 18 December 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with the President of Nicklaus Companies, John Reese.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet, the guest highly praised Turkmenistan’s achievements in socio-economic development. John Reese also emphasized the importance of the working visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the United States of America and, taking the opportunity, congratulated the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality.
Thanking for the kind words, the National Leader of the Turkmen People emphasized that Turkmenistan recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of its permanent neutrality at the international level.
As noted, Turkmenistan views the development of sports and tourism as strategic priorities for sustainable development.
Speaking about the accumulated positive experience of cooperation with Nicklaus Companies, Hero-Arkadag cited as a vivid example the modern golf club built in Ashgabat, which meets international standards and enjoys popularity among residents and guests of the capital. As emphasized, this project became an important step in the development of golf in Turkmenistan.
Noting the significant opportunities for mutually beneficial partnership between Turkmenistan and Nicklaus Companies in the development of sports infrastructure, the National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed confidence that the company’s activities in the design and construction of golf courses would be reflected in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
Emphasizing that great attention is paid in Turkmenistan to the development of sports, particularly golf, John Reese confirmed the readiness of the company he leads to continue cooperation in this field.
