Meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye Held at the MFA of Turkmenistan

On 30 September 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mehribäşimova Bäşimova and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Turkmenistan Şener Cebeci.

M. Bäşimova wished Ambassador Şener Cebeci success in his diplomatic activities and expressed readiness to continue constructive partnership.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for further development of Turkmen-Turkish relations, as well as exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening political and diplomatic dialogue and cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as interaction on international platforms.

The sides reaffirmed their interest in further developing constructive cooperation and maintaining regular contacts on matters of mutual interest.
