Financial Monitoring Service in Turkmenistan

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing to establish the Financial Monitoring Service at the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan. 

According to the document, the Service is established with the aim to successfully implement the tasks arising from the Law of Turkmenistan “On the Counteraction of the Legitimization of Proceeds of Crime and the Financing of Terrorism” and the international treaties. 

The Resolution approves the structure of the Financial Monitoring Service and the regulations.
