ISSIRADJOU IBRAHIM GOMINA IS ACCREDITED AS THE AMBASSADOR OF BENIN TO TURKMENISTAN

By the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Speaker of the Mejlis G. Mammedova received the credentials of Issiradjou Ibrahim Gomina, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Benin to Turkmenistan. 

On behalf of the Head of Turkmenistan, the Leader of National Parliament congratulated the guest on the appointment to responsible diplomatic post, having wished success in the development of friendly relations and beneficial cooperation between two countries. 

Having expressed the gratitude for cordial welcome, the Ambassador noted that it is great honour to be the official representative of Benin in independent neutral Turkmenistan – the state that gained huge international authority, and expressed the confidence in the presence of versatile potential for development of interstate relations. 

During the conversation, the diplomat was informed about the main directions of home and foreign policy of Turkmenistan, which gives special role to the development of beneficial cooperation with all interested states of the world as well as about successful large-scale social and economic programmes. 

Diplomat was also introduced with structure and comprehensive activity of Turkmen Parliament. 

Issiradjou Ibrahim Gomina has mentioned huge interest of his country in comprehensive activation of bilateral trade, business, cultural and humanitarian contacts including in sports and tourism. The importance of the dialog on inter-Parliamentary level has also been noted.
