THE DELEGATION OF TURKMENISTAN TO THE OSCE MADE A STATEMENT ON THE OUTCOME OF THE SUMMIT OF HEADS OF CIS PARTICIPATING STATES IN ASHGABAT

On October 17, 2019, the delegation of Turkmenistan to the OSCE made a statement at the meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council on the outcome of the Summit of Heads of States of CIS countries.

In the statement, it was noted that during the Summit, the participants exchanged views on cooperation on the CIS space and highly appreciated the ongoing joint activities aimed at the achieving higher levels of multilateral collaboration.

The delegation of Turkmenistan to the OSCE had informed the Council that following the Summit of Heads of States and Foreign Ministers’ Council meeting, the following decisions and declarations have been adopted:

Ashgabat Declaration on the Strategic Economic Partnership of the CIS participating states, Programme of Actions to intensify partnership between the CIS foreign-policy agencies, Address by the Heads of CIS participating states to the peoples of the Commonwealth and the world community in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War and others.
