MASS PLANTING OF TREES WAS HELD IN THE CITY OF AKINA IN AFGHANISTAN
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan and the “Novruz” international holiday, a mass planting of trees was organized near the mosque designed for 500 visitors, which is being constructed in support of Turkmenistan as well as around the bas-relief of Makhtumkuli Fraghi, in the city of Akina of Andkhoy district, located in the province of Faryab of Afghanistan.
Representatives of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Mazar-i-Sharif of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the mayor of Akina, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan in Akina, customs officers of Akina, oil and gas and railway institutions officers, representatives of the local Turkmen diaspora, as well as the mass media participated to the event.
The humanitarian assistance provided by Turkmenistan to contribute to the decent and peaceful life in Afghanistan is highly appraised in the neighboring state. The participants of the ceremony expressed gratitude to the distinguished President of Turkmenistan for humanitarian assistance and fraternal care.
