THE HEAD OF THE RELIGIOUS COUNCIL OF THE CAUCASUS CONGRATULATES TURKMEN LEADER ON HIS BIRTHDAY
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with Chairman of the Religious Council of the Caucasus, Co-chairman of the CIS Religious Council Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh.
Having expressed gratitude for the time spared for the conversation, the Head of Religious Council of Caucasus warmly congratulated Turkmen leader on his birthday and reaching the age of the Prophet Muhammed, having addressed him sincere wishes of happiness, health and mercy of the Almighty, big success in the government activity as well as peace, goodness and family wealth to Turkmenistan citizens.
Having expressed delight with grandiose achievements of Turkmenistan in its sovereign development, Allahshukur Pashazadeh highly appreciated personal contribution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the strengthening of traditionally friendly relations, having highlighted that the Caucasus comprehensively supports the policy of Turkmen leader, which is aimed at provision of universal peace and security.
Having expressed gratitude for congratulations on his birthday and reaching the age of the Prophet, which is traditionally thought to be an important date in life of each Muslim, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted important mission of the Religious Council of the Caucuses in protection of Islamic values and strengthening of fraternity and solidarity in general.
Being a member of the Islamic Cooperation Organization, Turkmenistan comprehensively supports peace programmes and humanitarian projects making its own initiatives, which assist to economic and social growth of neighbouring countries, the Leader of the Nation said.
Having noted the peoples of Turkmenistan and Caucasus are tied with common cultural traditions and spiritual and moral values, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that careful treatment of centuries-old history of Turkmen people, heritage of the nation are the main principles of the government policy of the country, in which all conditions allowing free manifesting of own religion are made.
In the end of the conversation, having exchanged good wishes, the President of Turkmenistan and Chairman of the Religious Council of Caucasus expressed confidence that mutual interest will serve as reliable foundation for fruitful cooperation.
