TELEPHONE CONVERSATION BETWEEN THE PRESIDENTS OF TURKMENISTAN AND KAZAKHSTAN
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Head of friendly country congratulated Turkmen leader on his 63rd birthday, having wished him good health for long years, prosperity and big success in his responsible activity on the highest government post.
Having expressed sincere gratitude to his Kazakh colleague for congratulations and addressed best wishes, the Head of Turkmenistan stated with delight that friendship and fraternal relations between people of two countries, which have been dynamically developed throughout many years according to the principles of mutual respect and support, have gained new content in modern time.
It was highlighted that high level of trust and understanding typical for Turkmen – Kazakh dialog is reliable foundation for steadfast development of cooperation both on bilateral level as well as under international organizations.
Having highly appreciated significant practice of cooperation gained in different spheres on the government and departmental levels, the sides discussed perspectives of development of interstate relations in number of key directions. In this context, presence of multi-aspect potential for further intensification of beneficial economic partnership, which has to be used at full scale, has been noted.
Importance of comprehensive improvement of humanitarian relations, which is provided by historical similarity of cultural and spiritual values of two nations, has also been highlighted.
In the end, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Kasym-Jomart Tokayev expressed the confidence that fruitful interstate cooperation would continue developing successfully.
