GRADUATION OF STUDENTS OF THE ACADEMY OF PUBLIC SERVICE UNDER THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN

The jubilee, tenth graduation of students took place at the Academy of Public Service under the President of Turkmenistan. Postgraduate diplomas were awarded to 28 qualified specialists in public administration.

The main goal of the educational process is to increase the level of professional qualification of public sector employees and to update their activities in the context of large-scale transformations implemented in the country and the presidential programme for the socio-economic development of the country.

In order to improve the quality of training for students, the Academy of Public Service developed and approved new curriculum for master's programs based on the priorities of the socio-economic development of the country and the tasks of improving the public administration system, taking into account the best practices of foreign countries and interactive teaching methods:

Public administration – course duration - 2 years;

Management of scientific and educational activities – course duration - 1.5 years;

Jurisprudence – course duration - 1.5 years;

HR Management – course duration - 1 year;

Digital management – course duration - 1 year.

The Academy also developed short-term 72-hour curricula in six areas and two-year curricula for retraining specialists from non-governmental institutions, organizations and enterprises on a paid basis.

The implementation of the competency-based approach provides for the wide use of the format of interactive classes. The training courses of the Academy of Public Service include meetings with representatives of companies, state and public organizations, teleconferences, distance learning under the guidance of leading domestic and foreign experts.

Joint project activities will be undertaken with UNDP, UNFIN and the EU to improve the skills of students in the field of analytical, communication and organizational activities, including planning and legal support of management decisions.
