EXCHANGING EXPERTISE TO ENSURE THE REGIONS’ COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT

On January 20, on instructions from the President of Turkmenistan, the khyakims of the regions and some senior officials went on a working trip to Mary velayat to get acquainted with operational experience in different areas.

During the working video-conference meeting held the day before, the head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had drawn attention to the need to study and use positive experience in order to optimize the activities and performance of the regions, having given issue-associated commissions to relevant high-ranking officials.

The khyakims of the regions, the Minister of Culture, and the Rector of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction discussed (first in the capital and then, at the Mary velayat khyakimlik) major efforts to be undertaken to comprehensively tackle the tasks assigned by the nation’s leader.

During the trip, the officials paid a visit to the Türkmeniň Ak Öýi Center in the city of Mary, whose architectural design incorporates the idea of reviving the ancient Turkmen dwelling, and boasts modern design solutions.

On the initiative of the nation’s leader, Türkmeniň Ak Öýi Centers are being built all across the country. In this context, the experience of architects and entrepreneurs, who have built this imposing building in Mary, is particularly important. The specialists shared expertise with their counterparts implementing similar projects.

They focused on the project’s specifications, building materials and equipment, construction regulations and other aspects of the works.

In accordance with the head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s commissions, special attention was given to the exterior and interior designs of these buildings and the use of ornaments and color schemes to reflect each region’s distinctive character. As noted, the original buildings, whose architectural splendor reminds of our country’s glorious history, should boast a unique national flavor.

Consideration was also given to the ongoing construction projects due for completion ahead of the 30th anniversary of the country’s neutrality with the special emphasis on meeting the construction schedules and ensuring the quality of construction works.

Then, the top officials visited a greenhouse specializing in tomatoes in Sakarchaga etrap, Mary velayat to study the effective greenhouse production. Private agricultural producers from all corners of the country joined the conversation.

The facility’s owner told that he had taken advantage of a concessional loan offered by the state to small and medium-sized businesses to build the greenhouse and tool it with modern equipment.

In this regard, the entrepreneur extended his deep gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, having noted that thanks to the active efforts of the nation’s leader a stimulating and favorable environment had been created in the country for the private sector development.

The greenhouse is now producing high yields of tomatoes and its specialists are making a meaningful contribution to ensuring food abundance in the country.

The private enterprise, Erkin Gurluşyk, which was another stopover during the working trip, is one of the examples illustrating the successful implementation of large-scale program objectives set by the head of state to ensure food abundance.

Last year, the President of Turkmenistan visited the enterprise, producing high yields of apples, and highly praised its activities.

Organized on the instructions from the nation’s leader, the working trip to the Mary region importantly contributed to sharing the positive experience in different fields of regional development. In this respect, the officials expressed their sincere gratitude to the head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the initiator of all the massive reforms in the country.
