TURKMENISTAN TO TEST SINGLE NUMBER EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICE CALL

During working trip to Ahal Region, the head of the state has highlighted the subject of expansion and improvement of medical services provided to the population. It was noted that ambulance services have to meet modern requirements while management of received calls and response to these calls have to be made in digital format.

In this regard, the President proposed to test numbers 112 or 911 single number emergency service calls) used in the world practice. In particular, while calling 112, relative service can detect the location of person who requires assistance while medical facility would be able to have an access to medical history record of the patient if a person was taken to the hospital. It indicates the advantages of this medical service while defining the importance and complexity level of received call.
