TATARSTAN MASS MEDIA EXPRESSES INTEREST IN DEVELOPING COOPERATION WITH TURKMEN COLLEAGUES
On March 17, Consul General of Turkmenistan in Kazan (Russian Federation) Atadurdy Bayramov held a meeting with Head of the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications “Tatmedia” Aidar Salimgarayev and General Director of the TV and Radio Company “New Age” (TNV) Ilshat Aminov.
During the meeting, the parties considered the possibility of exchanging news, mutual accreditation of journalists on the territory of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, development and promotion of the website of the Trade House of Turkmenistan in Kazan, the release of joint thematic magazines, video reports, an increase in the number of broadcast channels, using the capabilities of the national communications satellite "TürkmenÄlem 52°E".
Meeting participants exchanged views on the organization of an online meeting between representatives of Tatmedia JSC and Turkmen colleagues, and the possibility of signing documents on media cooperation.
The close cooperation between mass media of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation is highlighted as an important vector of partnership in the context of the policy pursued by our country to develop a multi-format dialogue with the Russian Federation.
The Consul General of Turkmenistan invited the management and specialists of Tatmedia JSC to visit Turkmenistan within the framework of the upcoming VI Summit of the Heads of the Caspian States in 2021 and cover this large-scale event as a news agency of the Russian Federation, representing the Volga-Kama macroregion.
