WORKING TRIP OF TURKMEN LEADER: ASPECTS OF SUBSIDIARY ACTIVITY OF SECURITY FORCES
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has inspected work carried out in subsidiary farms of military and law enforcement agencies of the country, preparation to tree planting campaign, which starts spring planting season.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Secretary of the State Security Council Ch. Amanov has made a report to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov who arrived to picturesque place of the Kopetdag foothills in the morning.
The head of the state has shared the opinion on strengthening of equipment and facility base of security forces, improvement of operation of subsidiary farms and increment of their contribution to the food security of the country.
As is known, various agricultural crops and fruits are cultivated in subsidiary divisions of military and law enforcement agencies of the country according to the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan. Lands allocated for this purpose are expanded.
Vice-premier Ch. Amanov has presented the drawings of land plots allocated to military and law enforcement agencies for subsidiary farms as per request of the head of the state, their detailed projects and reported on work performed in this direction.
It was noted that soil and climate conditions of each place have been studied together with agrarian scientists and other specialists. Relative species of plants have been selected accordingly.
The land in this area has always been distinguished with its fertility, especially vine yields, which have always been very generous. These days, such breeds of grape as Rowaç, Galkynyş and Şaserpaý are cultivated in this place.
Samples of apples, pear, quince, persimmon, plum, apricot, walnuts, pistachio, olive and other fruits and shrubs as well as systems of drip irrigation and drawings of pool for collection of water have been presented to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for review.
Readymade production, including fruits, has been presented together with projects. Detailed information about equipment that would be used for care of fruit trees and special features of using this equipment has been presented.
The President highlighted that nationwide tree planting campaign is very important in the context of ecological wealth and creation of favorable conditions for life of people in Turkmenistan.
In this regard, the President noted that issues related to the formation of new forest zones near the settlements as well as with improvement of the efficiency of subsidiary farms of military and law enforcement agencies of the country have to remain in the focus and gave specific instructions for further activity in this direction.
Further, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdiyev has reported on development of farming and livestock breeding, in particular camel breeding, in subsidiary farms.
It was informed that number of production complexes, agricultural and livestock farms as well as apiaries operate at present time. Work of equestrian and kennel divisions is a separate direction.
It was noted that the focus is made on increment of livestock of camels with provision of proper care of animals and processing of products made by this farms, which have good economic perspectives. Camel milk is also actively used for medical purposes.
The focus should be made on improvement of production of subsidiary farms, increment of livestock as well as on provision of various agricultural production, the President said noting that this work is very important in labor education of young military personnel.
Further, Head of the State Border Guard Service Ya. Nuriyev has reported on measures for growth of production volumes in subsidiary farms of the Service and for all year around production.
It was noted that subsidiary farms is engaged in cultivation of vegetable and cucurbitaceous crops, processing of fruits as well as in development of livestock and poultry farming.
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country has noted the importance of development of subsidiary farms not only in provision of food abundance but also in education of love of the young soldiers to work and requested to put all efforts to activate this activity together with enhancement of level of combat training, physical culture and sports.
In his turn, Minister of Interior M. Chakiyev has reported on measures for provision of efficiency of work of livestock and poultry complexes under the subsidiary department of the Ministry. Hundreds of cattle are bred in relative structures, work for increment of meat and dairy production, livestock and forage base is carried out as well. Subsidiary departments of the Ministry, which work on development of farming, vinery and livestock, expansion of species of birds and increment of egg production, operate in Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary Regions.
At present time, construction of equestrian complexes of these structures is carried out at high rates according to the instructions of the head of the state.
Addressing the Vice-premier, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber S. Berdimuhamedov and Minister of Interior M. Chakiyev, the President of Turkmenistan has noted that group of agrarian specialists in livestock production sphere studies the origin of wild horses and collects relative information.
The head of the state has requested to carry out work for scientific study of the population of wild horses and their features.
Prosecutor General of the country B. Atdayev has reported on the situation at the land allocated to prosecution authorities for farming and livestock production as well as on integrated measures for increasing lands for gardening.
Further, Chairman of the Supreme Court G. Ussanepesov has reported on work for establishment of subsidiary farms of the structure and cultivation of vegetables and cucurbitaceous crops as well as on care of the trees.
Minister of National Security G. Annayev has reported on care of deciduous and fruit trees belonging to the Ministry and expansion of their plantation territory.
In his turn, Minister of Justice B. Muhammedov has reported on agricultural measures undertaken for increment of fruit trees cultivated at the land plots belonging to the Ministry and on improvement of their productivity.
Chairman of the State Customs Service M. Hudaykuliyev has reported on work made by the subsidiary farm department, the self-sustained organization founded under the Service. At present time, the department builds the second phase of the poultry complex and hothouse for expansion of the territory of the subsidiary farm.
Chairman of the State Migration Service B. Ovezov has reported on preparation of land allocated for subsidiary farming to spring sowing and finding of tree species to be planted taking into account soil and climate conditions of the area.
Having listened to the reports, the President has requested to hold under control the issues related to development of subsidiary farms under military and law enforcement agencies of the country.
Addressing Vice-premier, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber S. Berdimuhamedov, Turkmen leader has requested to study the issues related to mass cultivation and processing of such crops as sunflower, olives and sesame, which are required for production of vegetable oil for satisfaction of the population demand.
Such noble activity as planting of trees, which play an important role on education of growing generation, supports the enhancement of ecological culture of the society and protection of the environment.
Further, the President has looked around young trees planted in this place. Separate land plots are allocated for each type of tree. Various apple, pear, peach and plum trees are planted in this place. Walnut, pistachio, olive and persimmon are cultivated as well.
The head of the state has inspected irrigation systems, their features and importance for water saving, which are widely used nowadays in agriculture.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that it is important to pay attention to development of the gardening, vinery and vegetable production, which together with food abundance is very important for the formation of eco-friendly environment.
Nationwide tree planting campaign will be held next Saturday in the country. Traditionally, this action takes place on the threshold of Nowruz as a symbol of dedication to spiriatual values of our ancestors.
The heads of military and law enforcement agencies have expressed gratitude to turkmen leader for his attention to improvement of security forces as well as assured that they would put all efforts for timely fulfilment of objectives given by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country.
Having noted a unique nature of this place, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has requested to hold under control the issues of efficient use of water resources and turning of these places into blooming garden. Having addressed certain instructions on this account, the head of the state left the place of event.
