DIPLOMATIC MISSION OF TURKMENISTAN IN BUCHAREST ORGANIZES SPORT TOURNAMENT

The Embassy of Turkmenistan to Romania together with Politechnika University, Bucharest has organized futsal and table tennis tournaments with participation of students from our and other countries in the sport complex of the university.

Director of the University Mihnea Kostoiu and Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Romania Annamuhammed Annayev addressed the participants with greeting speeches and noted consolidating role of sports at the opening ceremony of sport event.

«Garaşsyzlyk», «Bitaraplyk» and «Ýüpek ýoly» teams of Turkmen students from Bucharest and Kluj, «UPB» of Romanian students and «FILS» (Faculty of Engineering and Foreign Languages) made of students fro different countries took part in futsal tournament.

Foreign student team «FILS» has won the first place, «Ýüpek ýoly» and «Garaşsyzlyk» - the second and third places respectively. The best half of students took part in table tennis competitions.

The award ceremony of the winners took place after the competitions. Everyone have received commemorative gifts. The participants and fans had a chance to try the best dishes of Turkmen cuisine during sport competitions.
