THE UN DECLARES DECADE ON ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION

The United Nations General Assembly has declared the Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021 – 2030).

The Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, which is held under the aegis of the UN Environmental Program (UNEP) and the UN FAO is a call to protection and restoration of ecosystems throughout the world for the benefits of people and nature. The action is intended to consolidate the efforts of many people for achievement of global goals. We can improve life level, to combat climate change and stop depletion of biological diversity only having healthy ecosystems.

The UN Decade will united all who are interested in restoration of ecosystems by various events. Officially, the campaign will be launched on June 5, the World Environmental Day.
