FOREIGN MINISTERS OF CENTRAL ASIAN COUNTRIES AND THE PRC TO MEET ON MAY 11 - 12

The second meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Central Asia and China may take place on May 11 – 12. Sputnik Uzbekistan informs that press secretary and official representative of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan Yusup Kabuljanov has said about this.

“Participation of the delegation of Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan is planned in the work of regular meeting of the Foreign Ministers in China – Central Asia countries format” – Kabuljanov said at the briefing. Earlier, mass media informed that the second ministerial Central Asia – China meeting may be held in Shanxi Province in the middle of May.

The first ministerial Central Asia – China meeting was held on July 16, 2020 in video conference format due to the COVID-19 pandemics. Heads of the Foreign Ministries of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan took part in the online meeting.

It is expected that that participants of the forum will discuss integrated program of combating the COVID-19 pandemics and its impacts during coming meeting.
