THE GOVERNMENT OF TURKMENISTAN AND UN AGENCIES DISCUSS IMPLEMENTATION OF INFORMATION HEALTHCARE SYSTEM
The Ministry of Health Protection and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan together with the UN Agencies – UNFP, WHO, UNICEF and UNDP, have discussed the implementation of healthcare information system in Turkmenistan.
National healthcare information system is a source of information about health condition of the population, epidemiological control of diseases as well as indicator of effectiveness of work of healthcare system in general. National healthcare information system unites indicators of the Sustainable development goals related to healthcare.
It is worth to mention that Strategy of development of national healthcare information system for 2019 – 2025 is implemented in Turkmenistan. Its priorities include the enforcement of regulatory and legal base of healthcare information system, improvement of informational infrastructure of this sphere and enhancement of personnel potential.
