TURKMEN-RUSSIAN COOPERATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ELECTRONIC INDUSTRY

The largest Russian manufacturer and exporter of microelectronics "Mikron", which is a resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) of Moscow, begins to promote its products in Turkmenistan. This was reported the other day by RIA Novosti.

According to the press service, an agreement on cooperation and implementation of joint technological projects was signed by the Mikron Group of Companies and the Turkmen manufacturer of electrical equipment Aýdyň gijeler. The agreements provide for the joint development and implementation of projects in the field of object identification, marking of industrial goods, access control systems (ACS), electronic documents, smart cards and products in the field of radio frequency identification (RFID).

Mikron Group of Companies is one of the leaders in the semiconductor industry in the Russian Federation, manufactures more than 700 products, including integrated circuits for secure data carriers, identification, payment and transport documents, power management and RFID-marking for various sectors of the digital economy.

The business society "Aýdyň gijeler" was created just five years ago with the assistance of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. Since 2017, it has been producing energy-saving, environmentally friendly LED lamps with a power of 3 to 96 W, as well as LED ceiling lamps, aluminum floodlights for road lighting. The company was one of the first in the country to launch the production of various types of electrical equipment. Today, Aýdyň gijeler is known for its quality products, including LCD ULED TVs, computers, routers and switches.

At the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on July 9, issues related to the development of the domestic electronic industry and the training of relevant specialists were raised. Noting that as part of the diversification of the economy, state programs are being effectively implemented to increase the production of import-substituting products, increase the volume of export-oriented products, create an electronic industry, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to create a personnel training system to solve the tasks in the electronic industry.
