TAKHIR ATAEV'S ORCHESTRA: VIVALDI + RICHTER

The concert of the string orchestra of Takhir Atayev took place at a full house on the stage of the Vatan cinema and concert center. This time the musicians delighted the audience with the cycle "The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi in the philosophical version of Max Richter.

Max Richter, a German-born British composer, has interpreted one of Vivaldi's most famous works in the contemporary genre of minimalism. Music critics consider him a breakthrough man in the art of music. Richter's version of "The Four Seasons" is being performed for the first time in our country, which could not but arouse great interest among the public in the modified work.

Soloist Bahram Dolyev enters the stage together with conductor Takhir Ataev. They are greeted amicably by musicians and listeners. The concert begins with phantasmagoric pictures of the Universe, colorfully illustrated with video design. From the Universe - fire-breathing or infinitely cold, the picture of the world passes to our planet Earth. It is presented to the audience by a riot of colors that unfold before the eyes of the public. Each season of the year is unique and beautiful in its own way. But not only beauty characterizes the planet, cataclysms sometimes rage on it: natural fires, volcanic eruptions, water elements. Vivaldi's music is about all this, interpreted by Richter and accompanied by a video sequence. A separate theme of music is a short human life, which should be lived with dignity to the entire order of the universe.

A deafening ovation from the audience, bouquets of flowers to the soloist - Bahram Dolyev, who once again won the audience with his virtuoso violin playing.

And again Takhir Ataev waved the conductor's baton - for an encore the musicians sang the theme "Storm". And again, Bahram's violin "sang" at the highest note, involuntarily causing anxiety in front of the all-consuming sea abyss.

Blitz interview with the conductor:

- Tahir, are you satisfied with the performance?

- I find it difficult to answer yet. It is necessary for emotions to subside. Tomorrow we will analyze the recordings of the concert and give an appropriate assessment.

- And you were not afraid to go out to the public with such a work? After all, the question naturally arises: “Why interpret Vivaldi's The Four Seasons? It’s great already. ”

- There were also fears. But I wanted to acquaint the audience with the phenomena that are taking place in the modern musical world.

- And the traditional question: how will you please us in the future?

- A ROCK concert, as well as a Michael Jackson concert, which will include previous and new performances.

- Thank you for your creativity and great luck ahead!
