CHAMBER CONCERT AS A GIFT TO ASHGABAT RESIDENTS

Soloists of the State Symphony Orchestra presented the residents of the capital with two musical evenings held in the Ashgabat recreation park. The program of the chamber concert includes works designed to harmonize the piano with flute, oboe and clarinet.

The history of this concert is as follows: two sisters Myahri Orazova (piano) and Selbi Ovezova (flute), so as not to lose their professional form over the summer, rehearsed at home the works of Franz Doppler “Hungarian Fantasy”, Astor Piazzolla “Fugato”, Janus Mrocek “Etude”. Upon learning of this, they were joined by Yusup Ovezov (clarinet) and Didar Yemudov (oboe), and the number of works increased significantly. Even then, the idea was born to perform in front of an audience of four.

Thus, the audience was lucky to hear “Three Romances” by Robert Schumann, Concert Fantasy on the theme of the opera “Rigoletto”, “Big Concert Fantasy” by Charles Colin and other chamber works.

For an encore over the program, the musicians performed "Libertango" by Astor Piazzolla. The melodiousness of this piece literally captivated the audience, and a flurry of applause thundered in the hall again. Going to meet the audience, a group of musicians re-performed a brilliant piece by Piazzolla.
