AKHMED AGAMURADOV WILL PREPARE THE YOUTH NATIONAL TEAM OF TURKMENISTAN FOR THE QUALIFYING MATCHES OF THE ASIAN CUP-2022 IN JORDAN
The 42-year-old famous football specialist Akhmed Agamuradov will prepare the youth national team of Turkmenistan (under 23) for the qualifying tournament for the 2022 Asia Cup, the matches of which will be held from 23 to 31 October 2021 in Jordan. Our correspondent was informed about this by the Football Federation of Turkmenistan.
According to the draw held earlier, the rivals of the youth national team of Turkmenistan in the qualifying group "F" will be the teams of Palestine and Jordan.
42 teams, divided into 11 groups, will compete for the 2022 Asian Youth Cup, which is to be played for the 5th time.
The group winners and the top four best performing runners-up teams will advance to the finals.
In the final tournament, which will be held from June 1 to June 19, 2022 in Tashkent, Uzbek footballers will join them as hosts.
The Asian Football Championship among players under 23 years old has been held since 2013. Previously, the youth teams of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Korea, Japan and Iraq became the owners of this trophy.
Akhmed Agamuradov, who has considerable coaching experience with various teams, is not the first time to lead the youth team of Turkmenistan. Earlier, under his leadership, our "youth team" entered the top four teams at the 2015 Commonwealth Cup.
