NATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL "MENIŇ WATANYM" ACCEPTS ENTRIES
In honor of the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, the Oguzkhan Turkmenfilm Association announces the holding of the Meniň Watanym (My Motherland) film festival of feature-journalistic and newsreel documentaries.
Filmmakers, playwrights, cameramen, workers and fans of the film industry who wish to show their talents are invited to participate.
The main task set by the organizers for the contestants is to tell about the successful achievements of our country in the format of a short film. Creative works are accepted until September 1, 2021.
“We do not limit the imagination of the participants either technically or creatively,” says one of the organizers of the event, deputy for creative projects of the “Turkmenfilm” association named after Oguzkhan, Sahysalikh Bayramov. - A variety of topics are welcome, from coverage of achievements in the field of agriculture, the oil industry, to the development of urban infrastructures, in particular the white marble Ashgabat. The announcement of the winners is scheduled for September 12, and two film premieres presented by the Turkmenfilm association will also be shown.

The competent jury will consider creative works in the nominations: Best Film Director, Best Screenplay, Cinematography, Best Film Editing, Film Composer and Best Artist, including the winners in the Grand Prix nomination of the competition and the winner of the jury's sympathy prize.
