VERMICOMPOST IS A UNIVERSAL FERTILIZER FOR AGRICULTURAL CROPS

More than four hundred tons of vermicompost (biohumus) was prepared for sale by entrepreneur Byashim Bekiev. In his farm, located in the Geoktepe etrap of the Akhal velayat, he introduced an agrobiological technology for processing organic substrates into an environmentally friendly fertilizer. Bekiev has been engaged in this area, which is in demand in the agro-industrial segment of our country, for four years already. During this time, he entered into partnerships with private livestock and poultry farms, thoroughly studied all methods of obtaining vermicompost, acquired Californian earthworms, built a worm farm, where he uses the method of "walking beds" in which, instead of strawberries or carrots, he places the uterine livestock of worms.

“The production of vermicompost is carried out according to the technical conditions developed by me, in accordance with the obtained certificates of production safety and quality standards for such products,” Byashim Bekiev said in the conversation.

He calculated that if at least 70 hectares of land allocated for potatoes are fertilized with the biohumus harvested by him, then you can get a high yield of tubers - 50 tons per hectare.

“Fertilizers based on vermicomposting are one of the most effective, because they activate soil agrobiocenoses, contribute to the formation of humus, increasing the water-holding properties of soils,” the entrepreneur explains.

The businessman certified the products and after the test procedures received and sold more than three hundred tons of commercial vermicompost. Its buyers are public and private enterprises, tenants and individuals. The number of those wishing to purchase a guarantor of fertility is growing, in connection with which the manufacturer is working to expand production. For this purpose, he ordered special equipment - a separator for the preparation of raw materials and a vermicompost granulator. These mechanisms will increase the production of fertilizers. The entrepreneur expects to increase the production of vermicompost to one thousand tons per year.

In the production of a universal fertilizer, he uses California tiger worms. Now the entrepreneur has about four tons of “technological earthworms”, which were bred in the course of long-term selection by the founders of vermitetechnologies in the United States. Compostworms contain beneficial enzymes, which allows them to be added as a protein component to feed for farm animals and poultry.

The production and use of vermicompost in horticulture and vegetable growing is a promising direction from the point of view of ecology and economics. The use of agricultural by-products will help maintain the resource balance, optimize costs and increase agricultural production without damaging the environment.
