PRESIDENT GURBANGULY BERDIMUHAMEDOV GOT ACQUAINTED WITH THE PROJECT OF A STABLE IN THE FOOTHILLS OF KOPETDAG AND WITH THE FINAL STAGE OF CONSTRUCTION OF THE CAPITAL'S HOTEL
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited one of the picturesque corners of the foothills of Kopetdag in order to determine the location of a new stable, planned for construction near the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex. The leader of the nation also got acquainted with the construction work that has entered the final stage in the fashionable Garagum hotel erected in the north of the capital.
In the early morning, the President of Turkmenistan arrived at a picturesque corner in the foothills of the Kopetdag.
Here the chairman of the State Association “Türkmen atlary” A. Berdiev presented to the head of state a set of projects and drawings of the area provided for the construction of a stable for 600 horses on behalf of the President of the country.
The territory of the new complex with an area of 15.4 hectares there will include an administrative building, a veterinary clinic, two parking lots, two stables - for foal mares with 60 stalls each, six - for breeding mares with 80 stalls each, 8 sheds, a covered warehouse for storing feed and two open barns. Technical facilities will also by present.
Having familiarized in detail with the submitted projects and schemes of the location of facilities, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a number of comments in their regard and made appropriate adjustments.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the beauty and clean air of the foothill valley, where the Akhal-Teke horses were first born. The Altyap spring with life-giving water, in harmony with the surrounding nature, creates a favorable ecological background.
Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch. Purchekov reported to the head of state on the external engineering systems of the new stable, including access roads, demonstrating the types of lanterns that are planned to be installed. It was noted that at present practical measures are being taken to ensure the high quality of the laying of power lines, water supply and sewerage systems, and access roads. At the same time, great importance is attached to the quality and range of building materials that will be used in the construction.
In the architectural embodiment of objects of this kind, advanced engineering and technical solutions and elements of national architecture should be organically combined, innovative and digital technologies should be used in control systems, the head of state said.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused the attention of the leaders of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and the International Association of Turkmen Alabay on the need to improve selection and breeding work, increase the number of horses, including studying the characteristics of Akhal-Teke colors on a scientific basis. The leader of the nation also gave specific instructions related to the construction of modern comfortable housing for horse breeders and specialists who will work in the new stable.
Addressing the hyakim of the Akhal velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave a number of instructions regarding the careful attitude to the local amazing nature, mountain gorges and springs, instructing to take a responsible approach to the issues of preserving the ecological well-being of the etrap territory.
Further, the head of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country reported to the head of Turkmenistan that a tender had been announced for the construction of a new stable. According to its results, the winner was the construction institution “Nur Bina” - a member of the UIET with extensive experience in the construction of such facilities.
Addressing Deputy Prime Minister E. Orazgeldiev, the President of Turkmenistan instructed to prepare a draft Resolution on the construction of a complex of buildings for a new stable, with an emphasis on the development of the horse breeding industry, breeding, creating proper conditions for keeping foal mares and newborn stallions.
On the way, the leader of the nation stopped at the monument to the famous Turkmen horse Polatly, whose name has become a legend. Thanks to the selfless and inspired work of Turkmen horse breeders and seis, Polatly gained worldwide fame with his special article and agility.
Next to the sculptural composition dedicated to the Polatly horse, there is a beautiful foothill valley of the Kopetdag, you can see the new buildings of the future administrative center of the Akhal velayat.
The main requirement is the construction of facilities at a high-quality level in compliance with environmental standards, the leader of the nation noted, stressing that the first stage of construction of the administrative center of the Akhal velayat should be completed in 2022 - by the Day of Neutrality of the Fatherland. In this regard, relevant instructions were addressed to the relevant managers.
Then the President of Turkmenistan went to the construction site of the capital hotel “Garagum”, where, at the request of Deputy Prime Minister Ch.Purchekov, he got acquainted with the final stage of the work carried out here.
First, the head of state got assessed the construction and improvement of the Watançy park, which is being built at a high rate near the Garagum hotel. At present, seedlings of various trees have been planted on the territory of the park zone, and a special path has been laid for those who like cycling. The steps taken in this direction are of great importance for the development of cycling, its strong integration into people's lives. In this context, the bicycle is the most environmentally friendly mode of transport - the best choice for outdoor activities.
While inspecting the progress of the construction of the park, the President of Turkmenistan noted that it will become a favorite place for recreation and walking for children and adults. This is an important requirement when designing such facilities in our country.
The “National Forest Program of Turkmenistan”, approved by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is being successfully implemented in order to ensure environmental safety on a national and global scale.
Then the leader of the nation arrived at the fashionable Garagum Hotel, where the final construction work is underway.
After reviewing the progress of work, the head of state first of all strictly demanded that special attention be paid to the external design of the building. The original national traditions of architecture and the tendencies of world urban planning should organically combine here, the President of Turkmenistan pointed out.
The 9-storey hotel building, located on an area of 6.9 hectares, will provide the guests with the most favorable conditions.
The leader of the nation emphasized that all conditions for tourists' recreation, organization and holding of high-level international forums and other events should be provided here, and addressed specific instructions to the relevant leaders.
The smooth contours of the central part of the building and two side buildings resemble waves of sand. And the yurt, organically complementing the architectural ensemble, will emphasize the national flavor.
After reviewing the state of affairs at the facility, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the Garagum hotel must fully comply with international standards and requirements for such facilities.
Having instructed to successfully complete the tasks set in this direction, the head of state left the scene.
