ALL PARTICIPANTS OF THE YOUTH ASIAN CUP (U-23) ON FOOTBALL ARE DETERMINED

The teams of Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan punched three last tickets to the final round of the Youth Asian Cup-2022 (U-23), where, as reported, the team of Turkmenistan got through for the first time. This became known following the results of the final matches in groups "D" and "I", where Vietnam won Myanmar – 1:0, and Saudi Arabia blown out Bangladesh – 3:0.

Whereat all 16 teams-participants of the final round of the Asian Cup-2022 were determined. These are the winners of 11 qualifying tournaments – Qatar («A), Iran («B»), Irak («C»), Kuwait («D»), United Arab Emirates («E»), Jordan («F»), Australia («G»), current champion Republic of Korea («H»), Vietnam («I»), Malaysia («J»), Japan («K») the best four second-placed teams– Thailand («J»), Saudi Arabia («D»), Turkmenistan («F») and Tajikistan («В»). Interestingly, that Tajik team joined the ranks of finalist lastly, outscoring the team of Bahrein only on yellow cards.

In the final tournament, which will be held on 1-19 June, 2022 in Tashkent city, the football players of Uzbekistan will join to the teams which qualified for final.

Let us recall, that according to the results of final round, which is qualifying, the best three teams will gain a right to represent Asia at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
