STUDENTS FROM TURKMENISTAN WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION IN MATHEMATICS

The International Student Team Competition in Mathematics, organized by the University of Silesia, Katowice (Poland) and Uppersilesian Branch of the Polish Mathematical Society, will take place from November 12th till November 14th of this year.

Every year the Competition in Mathematics bring together in its platform the teams of experts in the «queen of science» from the universities of various countries – Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Czechia and other. Representatives from Turkmenistan have been successfully performing in it for several years.

Our students regularly improve their skills in mathematics in the university under the guidance of the experienced mentors. Therefore, the teams are already ready to demonstrate their knowledge in the forthcoming mathematic competition. The students will take part in competition in online format.

The participants will be proposed to solve problems on following sections: algebra and combinatorics, mathematical analysis (with topology and theory of sets), functional equations (including differential equations), geometry and linear algebra, theory of measure and probability theory.

The competition official language is English, therefore coupled with mathematics knowledge the competitors will have to show their linguistic training. The conclusive results of competition will be announced on 14 November, on competition closing day.
