A STUDENT FROM TURKMENISTAN IS AMONG THE FINALISTS OF THE FIRST ALL-RUSSIAN COMPETITION «STUDENT OF THE YEAR. PHYSICIANS»

A student from Turkmenistan Regina Irgasheva, who is a 4th year student of the Medical Institute of the Mari State University (MarSU), specializing in General Medicine, was included in the list of finalists of the first All-Russian competition “Student of the Year. Physicians ". This was reported by the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Kazan.
It should be noted that 100 from 37 regions of Russia became the finalists of the competition. The competition is organized within the framework of the Russian national prize "Student of the Year", which is a joint project of the Russian Union of Youth and the presidential platform "Russia - Land of Opportunities". It is attended by students from 40 regions of Russia who have achieved particular success in the medical field.
As Pavel Krasnorutsky, Chairman of the Russian Union of Youth, noted, students of medical universities have now become very active and valuable participants in the country's social life, volunteer projects, they work in overloaded medical institutions, help those in need within the framework of the #We Are Together. He also expressed confidence that the competition will develop, including in the wake of the growing interest in medical specialties, and the experience and knowledge that the participants acquire will become a valuable addition to their professional competencies.
The final of the competition will be held from 26 to 30 November 2021 in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
The Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Kazan) provides comprehensive support to Turkmen students studying at Russian universities. Within the framework of the meeting held in June last year with the rector of the Mari State University (MarSU) M.N. Shvetsov, as well as the Turkmen students studying there, the prospects for cooperation were discussed, including the exchange of students, mutual visits of the teaching staff Universities of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Mari El.
Also, a football team was created from among the Turkmen students "Ynanyshmak" ("Trust"), the players of which were presented with a football uniform and equipment.
