AT THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CENTER IN AHAL VELAYAT THE «SMART» CITY CONCEPTION IS REALIZED
Within the territory of the administrative center of Ahal velayat the large-scaled works are carried out on construction of the complex of buildings and structures designed to form the functional and comfort living environment.
A land plot of over 1000 hectares was allocated for construction. The construction is carried out in two stages, the first stage occupies an area of 700 hectares. 336 facilities are built in this area, including 258 residential buildings, 64 administrative buildings, 14 facilities related to the utilities.
More than 60 contracting organizations participate in the first stage construction of administrative, public and social buildings. Among the general contractors, concluded the contracts on construction are the well-known structural divisions of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, such as the economic societies «Ajaýyp bina», «Döwlet Gurluşyk», «Gujurly Binagär», individual enterprises «Çeper Gurluşyk», «Aktab», «Ussat inžener», «Nur bina Gurluşyk» and othyer contracting organizations. The key requirement to the contractors and owners of facilities is the provision of high quality of construction.
At present, the construction and assembly works are carried out with accelerated pace on all facilities. More than 500 units of machinery and over 15000 constructors of different specialties are involved in the construction.
At the construction of the second stage, it is planned to build in total 151 facilities, 126 of them –various-story high comfort residences, 19 socio-economic buildings and 6 utilities facilities.
The head of the state. who closely follows the progress of construction, has repeatedly emphasized that the new administrative center of Ahal velayat, which is being built in a picturesque place - in the foothills of the Kopetdag, should be an example in terms of both urban culture and ecology, capable of preserving this natural beauty. Therefore, when creating the administrative center, special attention is paid to the implementation of the concept of a «smart» city, which is based on the integration of advanced information and communication technologies and the internet, through which a single ecosystem is created that ensures the management of urban structures and services, which improves the quality of life of the population.
This concept includes a number of constituent elements. For example, such as «smart» homes, a data center - a unified database, as well as a universal city application that allows residents to pay bills, receive various information, etc.
This leads to a systematic improvement of the social and living conditions of the population, ensures the availability of modern digital services, as well as in the modernization of urban infrastructure, fire safety systems, street lighting, the need to create an appropriate reliable information base and proper control over the operation of technical equipment.
Speaking about the observance of cleanliness in cities and towns, as part of the implementation of the concept of a «smart» city, a program is being developed to install «smart» waste bins, which, thanks to their technical equipment, are able to inform the appropriate service about their filling. Taking into account the fact that the issue of waste collection and disposal is currently one of the most acute in the world, a complex of a specialized processing enterprise is being created, which will contribute to solving environmental issues.
Turkmenistan, having embarked on the path of progressive transformations, is also aimed at implementing the concept of «smart» cities, the new administrative center of the Ahal velayat should become a role model, both in terms of a new urban culture and in terms of ecology.
Thus, a modern city with all the conditions for comfortable living will soon appear in the foothills of the Kopetdag, which will become another vivid reflection of the progress of the Fatherland in the era of power and happiness, as well as a source of pride for the Turkmen people.
