30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN DPRK AND TURKMENISTAN

On occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Turkmenistan, the Chairman of DPRK Kim Jong-un had sent a message to the President of Turkmenistan.

In his message the Chairman of DPRK, congratulating the head of Turkmenistan on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, noted that the consistent development of traditional relations of friendship and cooperation with Turkmenistan in accordance with "the demand of our new era meets the desires and interests of the peoples of the two countries."

In conclusion of his message Kim Jong-un wished the Turkmen leader good health and further success as President, and the people of Turkmenistan - well-being and prosperity.

North Korea is the second country with which Turkmenistan established diplomatic relations after gaining independence.
