FIGHTING THE SPREAD OF THE PANDEMIC IN THE FOCUS OF CENTRAL ASIA AND CHINA

One of the important topics of discussion, for obvious reasons, at the online summit of the countries of Central Asia and China, held on January 25 this year, was the discussion of issues of consolidating joint efforts aimed at combating the spread of the pandemic.

At the summit dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries, it was emphasized that the states of the region and the PRC have accumulated considerable experience in mutual cooperation between representatives of the scientific and medical communities during this period. And therefore, the idea of creating a mechanism for regular meetings between prominent scientists, doctors, representatives of the epidemiological and sanitary services of this format was perceived by the heads of state as justified and timely.

The relevance and necessity of creating such a mechanism for cooperation in the medical field in his speech at the summit was emphasized by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The importance of this issue at the summit was noted by all heads of state.
