TURKMEN STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIADS

Students of Turkmen universities successfully performed in the first qualifying rounds of a number of International Olympiads organized by the Higher Schools of the Russian Federation.

In the direction of "Linguistics" of the annual Universiade "Lomonosov", held by the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Turkmen students participate for the fourth time. This year, 29 students of the capital's universities received a "ticket" to the second round of the competition. For the first time in the history of participation, five of our students scored the maximum number of points (100) and were among the best experts in the Russian language.

Three of them - Arslan Mamedov, Artem Klyuev and Dunyagozel Hebbikulieva represent the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. Two more guys - Yunus Bayramdurdyev and Kadyr Amanov, students of the Engineering and Technology University named after Oguzhan and the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov.

Half of the participants of the upcoming II round are involved in the direction of the Russian language. In addition to Russian, students of the country's main linguistic university speak English, German, French and Spanish.

Similarly, "Linguistics" was chosen by representatives of the D. Azadi TNRIM from among the areas of the International Olympiad "Major League", organized by the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" (NRU HSE). The participants of the final stage of the Olympiad will be 13 students who have successfully completed the test tasks of the 1st round in English, French and German.

Students of D.Azadi TNRIM and S.A.Niyazov TCU (total 41 students) are invited to the second round of the International Olympiad "Magistrum" held by Kazan Federal University. Within the framework of this Olympiad, Turkmen students focused on the following areas: “Oriental Studies” (Arabic), “Russian as a Foreign Language”, “Theory and Methods of Teaching Philological Cycle Disciplines” (English), “Pedagogical Education”.

Together, we add that with the participation of our students, the 1st round of the Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language, organized by St. Petersburg State University, continues.

Intellectual reviews of Russian universities, aimed at identifying and supporting talented youth, developing the creative abilities of students, promoting their professional growth, provide an opportunity to demonstrate knowledge in dozens of subject areas. Thousands of connoisseurs of the humanities, exact, natural and technical sciences - university students from around the world - traditionally join the Olympiads.

Every year, students from our country also participate in various areas of international competitions, showing worthy results at the Olympiad venues.

These days, students of domestic universities are looking forward to the second (final) rounds of the Olympiads, not wasting time preparing for them. The final competitions, in which students will again have to show their knowledge and abilities, will be held in April-May of this year.
