THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN INSTRUCTED TO PREPARE A LIST OF EVENTS WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF THE NEW PRESIDENT OF THE COUNTRY

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, at a government meeting via video link, focused on the forthcoming presidential elections on March 12 this year.

In this regard, the head of state gave instructions to Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov to ensure voting at polling stations at the embassies and consulates of Turkmenistan abroad at a high organizational level. Continuing the topic, the leader of the nation noted the need to provide comprehensive assistance to international observers, create appropriate organizational, technical and legal conditions for them so that they can monitor the election campaign and properly fulfill their mission.

Along with this, the head of state instructed to draw up a list of planned international events with the participation of the newly elected President of Turkmenistan and submit it for consideration.
