THE STATE CUSTOMS SERVICE OF TURKMENISTAN HOSTED AN INTERDEPARTMENTAL CONFERENCE ON THE TOPIC «DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSIT AND LOGISTICS»

The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan hosted an interdepartmental conference on the topic «Development of transit and logistics in our country, increasing the attractiveness of transit routes through the country,» the press service of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan reports.

The interdepartmental meeting was attended by military personnel of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, representatives of departments of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen Logistics Association and the International Association of International Carriers of Turkmenistan, as well as teachers and students of the Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology of Turkmenistan.

The purpose of the conference was to accelerate the expansion of customs clearance across the border, aimed at developing the transit and logistics system of the country, was aimed at expanding the conditions for the transit of goods across the border to increase the attractiveness and significance of transit routes through the country, which in turn will accelerate the movement of goods through the customs border.

During the meeting, questions and answers were exchanged on the topic that arose during the meeting, proposals were made, the issues raised in the work were discussed, and measures were identified that need to be taken in the near future to implement the tasks in this area.
