THE DELEGATION OF TURKMENISTAN WILL TAKE PART IN THE FIFA CONGRESS

The delegation of Turkmenistan will take part in the congress of the International Football Federation (FIFA), which will be held on March 31 in Doha (Qatar). The correspondent of "ZV" was informed about this in the Football Federation of Turkmenistan (FFT).

The delegation included FFT General Secretary Bayram Annadurdyyev and specialist of this organization Resul Mammedov.

The FIFA Congress meets annually in the year of the World Cup. It takes place in the host country of the tournament.

The draw for the 2022 World Cup, which will be attended by the delegation of Turkmenistan, will be held on April 1 in Doha.

The final tournament of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be held from November 21 to December 18. According to the regulations, 32 teams will be divided into eight groups of four teams each. The top two from each group will advance to the 1/8 finals. Then the tournament will be held according to the classical system with a knockout.
