ASHGABAT AND BAKU EXPAND COOPERATION OF EXPERT ANALYSTS
The other day, the head of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Shiri Shiriyev held an online working meeting with the director of training programs of the Institute of Diplomacy and Development of the University of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy Nargiz Ismailova.
It should be recalled that exactly a month ago, working contacts were established between the IMO Center of the country's Foreign Ministry and another analytical structure of Baku - the Center for Analysis of International Relations of Azerbaijan.
Despite the fact that at this stage the National Center for Strategic Studies of the IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan is in its infancy, one of the priority tasks for itself is to expand ties with similar structures of the states neighboring Turkmenistan, as well as the Central Asian region and the Caucasus.
The basis of the Center's activity is the actual tasks that meet the requirements of the foreign policy strategy of Turkmenistan.
In the future, guided by the tasks set for the Center, its employees in the near future intend to regularly hold online meetings to exchange scientific and analytical materials, conduct joint research, conferences on topics of mutual interest.
At the current online meeting, the head of the Center for Strategic Studies of the IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Sh. Shiriyev, and his colleague from Azerbaijan, N. Ismailova, having designated interaction on the Caspian and energy issues as one of the priority areas, agreed to sign a relevant memorandum to continue mutual cooperation on a legal basis.
