"YOUNG HERALDS OF THE WORLD": THE SEVENTH MEETING OF THE PLAYERS

The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the seventh game of the first qualifying round of the intellectual competition "Young messengers of the world", dedicated to the topic of foreign policy and diplomacy of Akgoyunly, Garagoyunly and the Mamluk Turkmen states.

Recall that the project was organized for students in grades 9-11 of the country's schools by representatives of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country and the School of Young Diplomats as part of this university. The competition brought together high school students who are interested in the diplomatic field. The task of the competition is to stimulate the aspirations of young intellectuals and their career guidance, as well as to search for talented and capable participants.

The content of the competition covers the events of historical eras in which the formation and development of the national school of diplomacy took place. The project started in November last year, when the first game of the qualifying round took place.

Almost six months have passed since that time, and the young messengers still have their eighth game ahead of them, the semi-final, the final battle. A large-scale project is distinguished not only by its duration, although this already indicates how much effort, effort, and work have been invested in its preparation and implementation. Everything is arranged in such a way that, despite the standards of the order and rules of the competition, each new meeting of the players is a new impressive spectacle with a certain twist that gives positive emotions and excellent mood to both the participants themselves and the eyewitnesses of what is happening.

In addition, the organizers provide for educational events for young messengers, which, according to the already established tradition, take place a few days before the game and help the guys broaden their horizons of knowledge, tune in to the main meeting, and improve preparation for it. In unison with the theme of each new game, excursions to museums, sights of the capital, meetings with scientists, historians, and experts in their field are organized for young messengers.

A general thematic lesson was held for the participants of the seventh game, which was held with the participation of senior researchers of the Institute of History and Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Khurma Chommadova and the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Makhtumkuli of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Nurmukhammet Gylychdurdyev, as well as the editor-in-chief of the journal "World Literature" Rakhmet Gylydzhev. Specialists prepared entertaining lectures for the students, which told about the diplomatic traditions, domestic and foreign policy of the Turkmen states of Akgoyunly, Garagoyunly and the Mamluk Sultanate.

An educational excursion to the capital's alley "Ylham" was also organized for the players. As is known, the art and park complex in the center of the capital hosts dozens of sculptural compositions of outstanding Turkmen writers, poets, scientists, thinkers, philosophers. There are also dedications to great creators in the sculpture park, whose names are inextricably linked with the history of Akgoyunly, Garagoyunly and the Mamluk states. Their images, immortalized in sculptures, attracted the special attention of inquisitive schoolchildren, all of whose questions were gladly answered by the teacher of the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country who acted as a guide.

Within the framework of the events held, the participants of the seventh game showed activity, a lively, sincere interest in the ongoing events and, as a result, acquired new useful knowledge of the topic, which made it possible to add additional touches to the preparation of schoolchildren for an intellectual competition.

By tradition, the game was held in a huge Turkmen yurt installed in one of the educational buildings of the university. Here, on the main playground, it is important for the participants to be able to prove themselves, give exhaustive answers to questions on the topic of the competition, demonstrate their knowledge and training, which is assessed by a competent jury in all rigor and fairness.

According to the rules, eight high school students took part in the game. These are students of the capital's schools - specialized secondary school No. 87 with in-depth study of foreign languages, specialized general boarding school named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi, specialized educational school No. 21, as well as schools in Akhal velayat - specialized secondary school No. 17 of Kakinsky etrap languages and secondary school No. 16 of Ak Bugday etrap.

The jury team of the competition was made up of Advisor to the Department of European Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Nurberdy Amanmyradov, senior researcher at the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Nurmuhammet Gylychdurdyev.

Based on the rules of the competition, the winners are two participants who will continue to fight in the semi-finals of the project. They were Kumush Tachmukhammedova, a 9th grade student of specialized secondary school No. 87 in Ashgabat with in-depth study of foreign languages, and Orazdzhemal Charyyarova, a 10th grade student of specialized educational school No. 21 of the capital.

All participants of the game were awarded certificates of honor and letters of thanks from the organizers of the project - the IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the School of Young Diplomats at the university, as well as memorable gifts from the sponsors of the event.

The game was sponsored by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, the National Archery Federation of Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, Abadan haly OJSC, Aýdyň gijeler ES, Muhammet Balkan ES, Ýedi Dogan IE .

Filming and recording of the seventh game of young messengers was carried out by the Miras TV channel of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography together with the IMO TV Studio of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country. Turkmen viewers will be able to watch the broadcast of the competition in the near future.
