The Turkmen Language and Culture Center, headed by teacher from Turkmenistan Resul Shadjiev opened at Astrakhan State University (Astrakhan, the Russian Federation) on December 20. One of the important directions of work of the Center is the organization of various events aimed at popularizing the historical heritage, cultural traditions, literary work of the Turkmen people and enhancing the Turkmen-Russian humanitarian cooperation.
