THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF TRANSACTIONS AT THE SCRMET AUCTION EXCEEDED 109 MILLION 250 THOUSAND US DOLLARS

Last week, 14 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

For foreign currency, representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene and polypropylene (SC «Türkmennebit»). The products of the (SC «Türkmenhimiýa») were in high demand. Thus, businessmen from Afghanistan purchased ECO-93 gasoline, and businessmen from China and the United Arab Emirates - technical iodine.

In addition, cotton yarn was sold for foreign currency, which was purchased by entrepreneurs from Ireland and Azerbaijan. The total amount of transactions exceeded 109 million 250 thousand US dollars.

For manat funds, Turkish businessmen also purchased cotton yarn for the amount of 262 thousand 500 manats.
