COMPETITION OF INNOVATIVE PROJECTS - "DIGITAL SOLUTION - 2023"

The Regulations on the competition of innovative projects "Digital Solution - 2023" have been published. The document consists of six sections, the first of which defines the objectives of the competition. It notes that in accordance with the "Concept for the development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025", the agency "Turkmenaragatnashyk" is holding a competition of innovative projects called "Digital Solution - 2023". Its goal is to identify and encourage young people involved in software development and inventions with a wide potential for implementation in the national economy, launching new start-ups that contribute to the development of the country's digital ecosystem.

The general provisions of the competition are set out in the second section, which contains the requirements for the submitted works. In particular, it is necessary to justify the importance of the project and the possibility of introducing it into production, including for the development of a communication and telecommunications system, economic significance, as well as indicate other characteristics of the project related to cybersecurity and design.

According to the Contest Rules set out in the third section of the document, individual and group participation is allowed (the number of participants in the group should not exceed 3 and the leader of the group should be determined). Here is a list of required documents provided by the participants of the competition. The documents of the contest participants will be registered by the Turkmenaragatnashik agency until October 20, 2023, and the results will be summed up within the framework of the XIV international exhibition and scientific conference "Turkmentel - 2023".

In the fourth section on the procedure for holding the competition and the work of the organizing committee, it is said that it will be held in seven areas, namely: Health care; Science and education; Transport and logistic; Electronic industry; Agriculture; Services and Robotics. Experts from relevant ministries and departments will be involved in evaluating the submitted projects in these areas.

Applications for registration of participants in the competition and proposals for inventions are accepted electronically on the telecom.tm website.
